Kingston's IronKey D300 USB Flash Drive uses an advanced security level based on features that make IronKey well-respected for sensitive security information. It is FIPS 140-2 Level 3-certified, with 256-bit encrypted AES hardware in XTS mode. For peace of mind, the device uses digitally signed firmware, which makes it immune to BadUSB, providing full password protection * with minimum identifiers to prevent unauthorized access. Encryption and decryption are done on the device without the host system leaving any trace, and in order to protect the device against brutal compulsive attacks, the device is locked and converted after 10 invalid attempts.

IronKey D300 Managed Model requires IronKey EMS of DataLocker ** and allows centralized handling of device access and usage over thousands of devices. Either cloud-based or on local applications, device-specific policies are forced, such as how strong a password is and how limits are restored and allow administrators to remotely disable lost or stolen devices, or reset passwords, etc.
